Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago theatre before moving on to television and film. Anna got her first major part as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. She continued to appear as a guest star in a number of television shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as the character Numbered Days in a four part audio podcast in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and the eventual end of their relationship echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of life.
